Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is the most common and best-known type of massage in the West. If it's your first time at the spa or you don't get massage very often, Swedish massage is the perfect place to start.
If you want deeper work and can tolerate more pressure, even some momentary discomfort to get relief from muscle stiffness and pain, it's better to book a sports or deep tissue massage.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as "adhesions.")
Will A Deep Tissue Massage Hurt?
It shouldn't hurt, but it's likely to be a bit more uncomfortable than a classic Swedish massage.
It's important to drink a lot of water after a deep tissue massage to help flush lactic acid out of the tissues. If you don't, you might be sore the next day. It's possible that you might feel some soreness the day after a deep tissue massage even if you DO drink water. This just means a lot of waste products were flushed out of the tissues. It should pass within a day or so.

Active Isolated Stretching

Active Isolated-Stretching (AIS) is a broadly-used method of stretching utilized by doctors, therapists and even athletes to improve the body's potential to not only heal itself, but to enhance performance as well. By providing upper and lower body stretching, this therapy can help relieve pain caused by exercise and more. AIS is a form of healing therapy that allows the body to become more efficient and enhances range of motion.
AIS is a flexibility system that involves working one muscle at a time. By actively contracting muscles opposite of the targeted muscle, Active Isolated-Stretching automatically relaxes a specific muscle in preparation of its stretch. This therapy is performed by gentle and quick stretches, and releases the muscle before it has a chance to protectively contract. In utilizing this form of wellness therapy, individuals are more balanced, less susceptible to injury and have a better overall wellbeing.

Raindrop Technique

The raindrop technique involves the amazing power of essential oils, mixed with a variety of massage techniques including back massage, vita flex massage and heat application. It's designed to bring the body back into structural and electrical
alignment. Often many types of spinal problems and misalignments are caused by toxins that lie dormant within the spine. The use of essential oils helps to dispose of these viruses within the spine, helping its structure return to normal.

TMJ Treatment

Massage therapy may offer some relief for people with temporomandibular joint disorder (a condition commonly referred to as TMJ syndrome or TMJ). Marked by pain and stiffness in the jaw, face, and neck, TMJ affects the temporomandibular joint, which connects your jaw to the side of your skull. By using massage on the muscles surrounding the temporomandibular joint, TMJ patients may be able to lessen pain and ease TMJ symptoms.
Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones, either as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them
on the body while they massage other parts of the body. The heat can be
both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can
work more deeply, more quickly.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy massage, also known as pre-natal massage, promotes relaxation, soothes nerves, and relieves strained back and leg muscles in expectant mothers. Pregnancy massage is especially benefical in the second and third trimesters, when the extra weight in your belly puts a strain on your back.
A pregnancy massage differs from traditional massage in a few different ways. First, the massage therapist will take extra care to make sure your body gets the cushioning and support it needs. When you’re lying on your back, there will be pillows underneath your knees and shoulders. We use special pregnancy bolsters with a deep cutout in the center so you can lie face-down comfortably. You can also have your back massaged during pregnancy by lying on your side, with pillows under your head and between your legs. A pregnancy massage should be very soothing and relaxing in style.
